Blot (nBlt, BltBlt)
Blotting causes a spotted pattern along the underside of the Amoux, and it's always a natural color darker or lighter than the base coat.
It is a companion marking to Mottled, and may resemble examples found in that guide.
Edge
This marking should have a mottled edge.

Range
Blotting must cover the minimum range as shown below and may not extend past the maximum range.
This marking does not need to completely fill the minimum range in a solid color, but the marking should still adhere to the rules detailed below.

Appearance
Blotting must appear to solidify at the lowest points of the body, with spots growing thinner upwards as you go further up the side.
It may be any natural color darker or lighter than the base coat as defined in the Color Guide.
This marking must connect to itself regardless of whether or not a place is in range with the exception of the limbs, which may appear 'disconnected' but must rise from the toes up.
