Tarnish (nTrn, TrnTrn)

Tarnish causes the extremities of the Amoux to fade into a natural color darker than the base coat, including black.

Edge

This marking should have a fully blended edge.

Range

Tarnish must at minimum appear on 2 of 4 points: arms, legs, tail, and head. It may, if desired, cover 3 or all 4 points.


When Fade is also present, they may either:

  • Layer over each other

  • Appear on at least 1 point each (Fade on 1 point, Tarnish on 1) or any combination on all 4 points.

Appearance

Tarnish may be any natural color darker than the base coat, as defined in the Color Guide.
Any markings underneath Tarnish may be affected by the color change, making the markings above/beneath darker in color.

Any markings beneath Tarnish may not fade out completely.
