Iridescent (nIri, IriIri)

Iridescent adds a subtle sheen to the body of an Amoux.

Edge

This marking is a color modifier, but should have a maximally soft edge or a fully blended edge.

Range

Iridescence may at minimum affect 1 marking. This can be any marking, including minimal marks.

It may, alternatively, affect as many markings and/or the base as you wish.

Appearance

Iridescent may appear simply as 'shading' and/or 'highlights' on an Amoux, darkening the marking or base coat it is affecting.

The highlights may also be any semi-saturated color as detailed in the Color Guide.
If desired, it can create a slight saturation on the affected areas.

It may not be fully saturated unless an Amoux has a Vibrant Color mutation or the marking being affected allows a saturated color.

Iridescent is the only marking that may cause slight gradients on markings without the addition of Ombre.
Iridescent should not make the Amoux appear 'cell shaded'. It may have some fur texturing as shown in the below examples.
