Appearance

Flecking appears as dense clusters of spots which are a natural color darker and/or lighter than the base coat as defined by the Color Guide. It can be lighter, darker, or have both as seen in the example below.

This marking can appear to have hard or soft edges and should appear rounded, not streaked.

Unlike Speckled or Starry, Flecking MUST be densely packed together and almost touching if not overlapping each other. However, they may not be so packed together that they create a semi solid or solid marking.
Any markings it layers over take on a darker or lighter color where the spots affect them.
