Fade (nFd, FdFd)

Fade causes the extremities of the Amoux to fade into a natural color lighter than the base coat, including white.

Edge

This marking should have a fully blended edge.

Range

Fade must at minimum appear on 2 of 4 points: arms, legs, tail, and head. It may, if desired, cover 3 or all 4 points.


When Tarnish is also present, they may either:

  • Layer over each other

  • Appear on at least 1 point each (Fade on 1 point, Tarnish on 1) or any combination on all 4 points.

Appearance

Fade may be any natural color lighter than the base coat, as defined in the Color Guide.
Any markings underneath Fade may be affected by the color change, making the markings above/beneath lighter in color.

Any markings beneath Fade may not fade out completely.
