Color Guide

Marking colors can be "natural", "black" ,"white", "desaturated", "semi-saturated", or "saturated".

This guide explains in detail what each term refers to.

"Natural colors" are colors such as browns, tans, creams, black, white and gray - colors you would find on real life canines.

The following swatches should give you an idea of what is allowed, but they do not necessarily have to be picked from these palettes.

If the base color is Sage, Slate, Ichor, or Pearl, they may also choose marking colors from their respective swatches shown below as well as the natural colors shown above.
This means (as an example) the Ichor base cannot use the Slate swatch for markings, and vice versa.

Natural colors may not be picked from the fully saturated (Opaline), or semi-saturated sliders.

"Black" does not use the Onyx swatches, it instead has its own swatch.

The basic rule of thumb for "black" markings is that they must look black compared to the rest of the Amoux.
